You’ll need 500g of Hokkaido pumpkin and a marinade made from 2 cloves of garlic, 4 tablespoons of soy sauce, 8 tablespoons of olive oil, a pinch of salt and 1/2 small teaspoon of sweet or hot paprika (which one you choose is up to you). First, wash the pumpkin well and cut it into marigolds, scooping out the seeds. Spread the marigolds on a baking sheet with baking paper and brush them with the marinade. Put them in a preheated oven for about 30 minutes, brushing them repeatedly with the marinade during baking. The baked pumpkin should be soft and easy to scoop out with a spoon.
