She hasn’t had a cup of coffee in the last year, she’s learned to get energy easier and healthier

When we feel sleepy or lose concentration, we usually reach for coffee. Some people may even drink several cups of coffee a day. But it is known that too much caffeine is not good for the body. But what can you replace caffeine with to give your body the energy you need?

The energy kick from caffeine only works for a short time

If we drink too many caffeinated drinks, it can have the complete opposite effect on us – we’ll feel more tired than before. Fortunately, though, there are plenty of alternative ways to regain energy. Not much information is known about them, but it’s important to know them.

When we feel tired, it may be because of low blood sugar levels. This feeling occurs after we eat a heavy and large meal. If you still drink coffee to go with it, the well-being improves only momentarily and the feeling of tiredness may come sooner than you think.

Instead of coffee, treat yourself to a snack that is nutrient-dense:

  • Iron
  • Healthy fats
  • Vitamin C

Seeds include avocados, nuts, carrots, hummus or celery. If you don’t have them on hand right now, find a health food store where you can find other snacks that will give you energy that isn’t just short-lived.

Weakness and fatigue is characterized by dehydration

In addition to dehydration, weakness can also cause heart palpitations and even loss of consciousness. But many illnesses are related to drinking too little. If you lose 1-2% of the water in your body, you may feel tired and less able to concentrate. If you feel tired, have a glass of mineral water and drink it every time you don’t feel well.

Moving outdoors, preferably in the sun, can also help. Airing out your bedroom well before bed will improve the quality of your sleep, so you’ll be refreshed and ready for the day in the morning. Also, don’t sweat too much in the bedroom as too much heat is not good for our bodies. Try taking a rosemary bath or spraying rosemary oil on your pillow, as rosemary is stimulating and relaxing.
