The third round of plasma donation is scheduled for three weeks from Nov. 16 to Dec. 11 at the Daegu Athletic Center’s indoor stadium – 4,000 Shincheonji members are expected to participate, including 1,700 who have already participated in the two previous blood plasma donations.
Shincheonji Church of Jesus, Tabernacle of the Testimony (Chairman Man Hee Lee) said the church will conduct its third round of plasma donations over a three-week period. About 4,000 Shincheonji members are expected to participate in this donation.

– The Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (KDCA) last month asked Shincheonji Church for their participation in plasma donation, stating, „There is a need for rapid development of plasma treatment through group donation of convalescent plasma. At present, the continuous occurrence of covid-19 at home and abroad, there is not yet an effective treatment.“
– The main problem in the development and research of convalescent plasma, is precisely its limited quantity. Shincheonji Church has already conducted two group plasma donations in July and September. 2030 people have participated in the donation so far for the development of plasma treatment, of which about 1,700 are members of Shincheonji Church and 312 people have participated at least twice.– Kwon Joon-wook, deputy director of the Disaster Relief and Safety Precautions Bureau, said at a recent regular briefing on the third donation: „About 4,000 Shincheonji members plan to participate in the plasma donation for three weeks to develop plasma treatment. We are grateful for the active participation of Shincheonji and the cooperation of Daegu City and the Korean Red Cross.“

– The third group plasma donation will take place at the Daegu Athletic Center’s indoor stadium with volunteers present to help ensure the event runs smoothly. As with the first and second plasma donations, participants will decline to receive a travel allowance of 20,000 to 30,000 won to reduce the burden on taxpayers’ money.
– Member Shincheonji said: „I was happy and grateful when I heard in the news (CG Green Cross) that plasma treatment is used at the point of care. It’s the most valuable thing we can do (as people who have recovered from covid). “And he added: “Our experience of participating in plasma donation has made all members realise that the power to overcome covid-19 is tolerance, love and unity. We will make every effort to help South Korea overcome covid-19 through plasma treatment.“Source:TZ
