Small shoes bought on the internet do not need to be returned. A common household appliance will help to enlarge them

Fashion lovers are crying. Stores have been closed for a long time and the only way to get interesting pieces is online sales. But buying clothes online has its risks. What looks perfect in a picture may not fit us. This applies both to classic clothes and, of course, to shoes, which we often buy smaller than we need. How to solve this problem? Either by returning it, or by using a few simple yet very functional tricks to help make the shoe the size you want.

Annoying but solvable

Did you know that most women own an average of 20 pairs of shoes? Crazy number, isn’t it. But let’s face it, how many pairs of shoes are crammed in the back of the closet and haven’t seen the light in at least two years? It also happens very often that a pair of shoes we bought, after trying them on at home, doesn’t fit as well as we would expect. And what do you do with them? Sometimes you return them, but sometimes you don’t. And that’s why more and more shoes can accumulate in your closet. If you discover this fact, there’s no need to go back to the store or tuck the shoes into the closet. Here’s a simple trick that will make your shoes fit like a glove – it really doesn’t take much.

What you’ll need for this trick

You may find this idea interesting, but believe me, it’s functional, simple and also cheap. There are various oils and shoe stretchers, but if you don’t want to invest extra money, this method will be perfect for you. What you need:

  • Two Zip bags
  • Water
  • Freezer

The procedure will be very simple. Take shoes that are tight. Pour water into the Zip bag, but only until the bag is half full. Now try to get the air that is above the water out of the bag, then you can close it. Place the bag in your shoes and push it up to the toe. Put the shoes in the freezer. When the water in the bag has frozen, you can take the shoes out. After removing the bag, allow the frozen water in the shoes to thaw for approximately 20 minutes. Your boots will expand and fit much better.
