The ornament and pride of any garden. Anyone who manages to grow a rich rose bush enjoys its pride and joy many days a year. If you don’t already have such a plant in your garden, don’t hesitate to get started now. It will cost you a minimum of money and involve your creative hands.
What to look out for
Roses are not just ordinary weeds that can grow anywhere alone in difficult conditions. They require a dose of careful handling, care and attention. The shrub needs to be pruned, fertilized, watered regularly and also checked for any pests or diseases.
Long-term rose cultivation
You can plant roses all year round, preferably in a place in the garden where conditions are favourable. Protect their fragile structure from too much wind. Place them where it doesn’t blow too much and they will be safe. It is important to add some clay to the soil to give the rose nutrients and keep it regularly moist.

Simple trick for growing a rose
Did you receive a rose as a gift or did you want to treat yourself at the florist? You’re in luck. With this one plant, you can grow a whole gorgeous and abundant bush. What you will need:
- Aloe vera
- Pot
- Scissors or knife
- Roses
First, cut an aloe vera leaf. Insert the stem of the rose into the flesh part, then cut the flower from it. This leaves you with a bare twig stuck in the aloe, which just needs to be planted. Choose a medium-sized pot to give the plant plenty of room. It doesn’t need to be too big, as you will be repotting it anyway.
Wait patiently
Now just be patient. The plant needs time, but you will soon notice the first leaves. After some time, you can transfer the shrub to a larger pot and then straight into the garden. You’ll grow a beautiful shrub from almost nothing that will give you joy for years to come.
